Bike Polo Tournament

The Bicycle Film Festival took place last week in cities across the world. London was the only UK city taking part, and although I didn't see any of the films I made it down for the first ever Bike Film Festival Polo Championship last Sunday.

They took place on the basketball court off Brick Lane. The sun came out, perfect weather, and the court was filled with plenty of interesting bikes. And loads of tales of how materials for making mallets and boarding up the side of the court had been obtained :-). Teams ranged from fully organised Bike Polo teams to groups of occasional players.

Full results here, both Oxford teams finished just outside the top 3.
